Saying Goodbye to the Studio

Saying Goodbye to the Studio

Hey friends! Just a quick note about the recording studio. We have moved out of the space at 3rd and Main, the home of Cedar Streams Studios and the podcast. Sometimes life takes you down a path you didn’t expect and happily & thankfully pivoting to the next chapter is the way forward. Illness and these economic times have pushed the commercial space untenable and a decision not to continue the lease was made. We’d like to thank our podcast brother and friend Jeff for holding it down for as long as he did.

Change is bittersweet. There are so many great memories of that space. In one of our very first episodes recorded there, the folks at Premier Meat Pie ran over some delicious food and suds for us. We celebrated our 100th episode there with friends and family. We’ve hosted a bunch of great guests over the past couple of years. We’ve loved working with our Invisible Stage crew to create our radio plays: Slack Johnson, Hank & Marge and others. We have enjoyed the trains going by, the sirens, the traffic, the people, the hustle and bustle of the downtown neighborhood. It has really been a great experience producing and recording there.

We can’t forget our beautiful neighbors that have been the best: Obelisk, Liberty Cafe, and TJ Mart, much love to you guys! Thanks to everyone who: peeked in, mooned us, asked questions, said hello, banged on the windows, waved to us and honked at us!

We’ll be doing the show in the virtual studio for a bit until our new permanent space can be built out, continuing the show we started 187+ episodes and almost three years ago. Thanks to everyone who tunes in and spends time listening. We appreciate you! The show goes on, every Tuesday with new episodes and don’t forget to check out the radio plays and specials. Much Love!
